CEO of KTZ Express, Mr. Kozhakhmetov D.M., took part in a working visit of the Kazakh delegation to Azerbaijan. During the visit, a series of meetings were held with key partners on the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).
The meetings were attended by the Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, Mr. Nabiyev R.N.; Chairman of the Board of JSC "NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy", Mr. Aldybergenov T.S.; Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Miss Zhanassova A.Zh.; and representatives of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY), Georgian Railway JSC, and other relevant organizations.
The parties discussed the further development of the route, including infrastructure modernization, expansion of terminal capacities, increasing port throughput, and digitalization of logistics processes. Special attention was given to eliminating bottlenecks that limit cargo growth on the TITR, synchronization of operations, and improving the turnover of rolling stock.
KTZ Express highly values the agreements reached and will continue to implement strategic initiatives to enhance the competitiveness of the Middle Corridor. Key priorities remain reliability of delivery, schedule stability, and reduction of transit time — today, cargo from China to Europe via TITR is delivered in an average of 15–18 days, which is twice as fast as sea transport.
