In Istanbul, the Development of the TITR Discussed

On November 22, 2024, in Istanbul, during the roundtable discussion "Trans-Caspian Connectivity: Experience, Changes, and Results," A.I. Kapar, Deputy General Director for Logistics of "KTZ Express" JSC, presented the company’s key initiatives aimed at developing the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).

The event was attended by members of the TITR working group, which includes representatives from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, and other countries.

In his speech, A.I. Kapar emphasized the strategic importance of the TITR as a critical transport corridor connecting China, Central Asia, and Europe. To further develop the TITR, the group of companies under "NC "KTZ" JSC continues to actively expand terminal infrastructure along the route. In addition to the Kazakhstan-China terminal in Xi'an, which was launched earlier this year, construction has already begun on a container hub at the Port of Aktau and a logistics terminal in Almaty. Plans also include building new terminals at the Port of Alat, Budapest, and other key locations, significantly strengthening the route’s position on the international stage.
