KTZ Express participated in the 8th Silk Road International Exhibition in Xi'an

On September 20, 2024, as part of the 8th Silk Road International Exhibition in Xi'an (China), Chairman of the Board of KTZ Express, D.M. Kozhakhmetov, presented the stand of JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" dedicated to the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).

During the opening ceremony of the stand, attended by the leadership of the Shaanxi Province and the city of Xi'an, D.M. Kozhakhmetov, on behalf of Kazakhstan Railways, spoke about the achievements in the transport and logistics industry, with special attention given to the development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and China, the "Belt and Road" initiative, the Kazakhstan-China terminal in Xi'an, and the significant growth of transit shipments along the TITR.

"Our successes would not be possible without close cooperation and trust between countries and companies. TITR is one of the most important links in the Eurasian transport system, and the success of this route is the result of our joint efforts. Since the beginning of this year, transit through the TITR has increased 20 times, and in early September in Aktau, we held a ceremony to dispatch the 200th container train of 2024, which speaks to the high interest in the route and coordinated teamwork. TITR allows for cargo delivery twice as fast as sea transport, connecting China to Europe via the Caspian Sea," said D.M. Kozhakhmetov.
