A new stage in the development of the transit potential of Aktau port

On June 16, 2025, a trilateral Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between «KTZ Express» JSC, «NC «Aktau International Sea Commercial Port» JSC, and YXE Trading Service Group. The signing ceremony took place within the framework of the 2nd Forum on Industrial and Investment Cooperation «China–Central Asia» in the presence of the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Roman Sklyar.

Under this agreement, the parties will focus on projects to develop the terminal capacity of Aktau Port, including joint investments in high-tech Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes, which are essential for improving cargo handling speeds under high wind load conditions.

The signing of the Memorandum is a logical continuation of the agreements reached in April of this year. It confirms the serious commitment of all parties to strengthening the transit potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan and their dedication to further advancing the Belt and Road Initiative.
