Agreements aimed at increasing freight traffic along the Trans-Caspian route were signed in the city of Nur-Sultan

On June 24-25 this year, regular meetings of the Working Group on the Development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route and the General Meeting of the TITR International Association took place in Nur-Sultan.
During the meeting of the General Meeting, issues of increasing the efficiency of work on attracting goods at TMTM, the development of container transportation, and the creation of favorable tariff conditions along the route were discussed. The head of JSC «NC «Kazakhstan Temir Zholy», the chairman of the board of the «IA ALETITR»Sauat Mynbaev emphasized the importance of taking effective measures to use the potential of the Trans-Caspian corridor. «It is necessary to intensify work on increasing freight flows along our route.Our decisions should contribute to attracting new participants to the corridor,» S. Mynbaev said. The growth of interest of large transport and logistics companies in this international corridor was noted. In particular, Astyk-Trans JSC joined the TITR Association, the main activity of which is operating specialized rolling stock, and providing freight forwarding services for grain transportation.
Following the meeting, the Protocol of the General Meeting of the ALE «IA» Trans-Caspian International Transport Route» was signed. Within the framework of the event, the leaders - permanent members of the TITR Association also signed: - An agreement on the organization of direct-water container traffic with feeder vessels between the ports of the Caspian Sea (Aktau, Baku (Alat); - Agreement on interaction and liability measures for Failure to comply with the delivery time when organizing cargo transportation as part of container trains along the TITR route.
