Additional feeder service was launched along the Trans-Caspian route in the Caspian sea

December 25th this year, second ship, “Beket Ata”, was launched from the port of Aktau, with a capacity of 224 TEU on the route Aktau-Baku-Aktau.According to experts, second Caspian feeder will also run on an approved schedule. The ship loading took about 12 hours.Goods of significant dispatch: ferrosilicium, tomato paste, lentils and consumer goods from China.Noteworthy that in Kazakhstan, containers of domestic exporters from Karaganda and Kokshetau were also loaded onto the feeder. After arriving to the port of Baku, the containers will be sent in different directions: to Georgia, Turkey and Europe on the TITR route.Shippers note that the feeder line reduces the delivery time of goods and it is a good indicator of containers’ transportation along the TITR route. Recall that first Kazakhstan feeder vessel from the port of Aktau to Baku was launched on April 16 of this year and runs on a regular weekly basis. Due to this, consolidated transit cargo from China to Europe along with Kazakhstan export cargo in containers is transported in some sped-up mode.
