KTZ Express opens new horizons: launch of a pilot train on the Korea-China-Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan route

On June 26th, the official launch ceremony of the pilot train on the Korea- China – Kazakhstan –Uzbekistan route took place at the Kazakh–Chinese logistics terminal in the Lianyungang Port. This significant event was attended by representatives of the railway administrations of all four countries, which underlines its importance for international trade and cooperation.


A train loaded with automobile spare parts, covered a distance of 7 thousand kilometers, will open up new ways for economic cooperation between the countries. The KTZ Express company acts as the operator of the route through the territory of Kazakhstan. At the ceremony, the Deputy CEO for Commerce of KTZ Express, Ulugbek Orazov, made a welcoming speech, and noted:


"The launch of the pilot train demonstrates our common commitment to the development of joint multimodal transportation, which will certainly open up new horizons for trade and interaction in our regions."


This is an important step in the development of new opportunities to increase Kazakhstan's transit potential, making a key transport hub in the international supply chain.
