KTZ Express strengthens ties with Croatia

During the official visit to the Republic of Croatia by Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, M.A. Nurtleu, U.A. Orazov, Deputy General Director for Commerce at KTZ Express, held a series of meetings with representatives from leading Croatian companies.

A key focus of the visit was enhancing cooperation with the Port of Rijeka, a major logistics hub in Croatia. Situated on the Adriatic Sea, the port plays a pivotal role in cargo transport and offers direct access to the markets of Central and Southeastern Europe.

Discussions centered around the development of multimodal routes, the integration of Kazakhstan’s and Croatia’s transport infrastructure, and the expansion of business partnership opportunities. Participants underscored the strategic significance of the Port of Rijeka in reinforcing the transit corridor between Europe and Asia and expressed a willingness to collaborate in adapting to current geoeconomic challenges.

The dialogue is aimed at fostering new opportunities for the advancement of transport and logistics connections while strengthening the strategic partnership between the two nations.
