KTZ Express provides a logistics service for the export of Kazakhstani agricultural products to China

The first batch of Kazakhstani barley weighing more than a thousand tons was sent from Makinka station (North Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan) to Putian of Fujian province (South-east of China).

The train goes to the destination through the Dostyk-Alashankou border crossing. The total travel time to the destination station will be 7 days.

The symbolic shipment was organized by the branch of KTZ Express JSC - KTZE Zapadny.

“The delivery of the first batch of Kazakhstani barley in containers to China is a great importance for the further development of Kazakhstani agricultural export. In addition, for Kazakhstani exporters, containerization is a worthy alternative to sending products in a specialized fleet of wagons, since there is a shortage of them on the market during the season”, says thehead of KTZ Express JSC Dmitry Abdullaev.

It should be noted that during the organization of transportation, in order to reduce logistics costs, the client of KTZ Express JSC was offered the technology of sending 43 empty containers in one train from the Chukursai station to the Makinka station. Moreover, thanks to the coordinated work of the participants, the cargo was promptly loaded into containers, which made it possible to form a container train in just three days.

The sender appreciated the efficiency and high reliability of the service organized by KTZ Express. Now, cooperation on the supply of barley will continue, the service promises to become regular.
