On September 6, 2024, the Chairman of the Management Board of KTZ Express, D.M. Kozhakhmetov, participated in the annual Astana Finance Days conference. During the panel session on investment projects within the “One Belt, One Road” initiative, the discussion focused on the results of cooperation between KTZ Express and the largest port companies in China, as well as the development of transportation and logistics potential.

“We are actively strengthening our partnership with Chinese companies. KTZ Express JSC has already implemented two important projects in the logistics sector: a dry port in Khorgos and a logistics terminal in Lianyungang. These projects play a crucial role not only in optimizing logistics processes between the two countries but also in enhancing transit traffic from China through Kazakhstan,” stated Damir Kozhakhmetov.

The event also featured representatives from China’s financial sector, who provided insights into the current financial instruments available to support and develop investment projects.

The General Director of KTZ Express informed the participants about the implementation of a new project aimed at creating a container hub at the port of Aktau, in collaboration with the largest Chinese port group, Port Lianyungang. This event served as a valuable platform for exchanging experiences and establishing new contacts.
