A new record for the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route: the 300th container train in 2024

On November 29, 2024, the 300th container train has been dispatched along the Trans-Caspian International route, starting at the Kazakh-Chinese terminal in Xi'an and following to Azerbaijan. This result significantly exceeds the indicators of all previous years, confirming the rapid growth of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route and its key role in international transportation.

The shipment was organized in cooperation with the key partners of the route — ADY Express (Azerbaijan) and Xi'an Free Trade Port (China).

At the moment, the volume of shipments from China via the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route has exceeded 27 thousand containers in twenty-foot equivalent, which is 25 times more than the same period last year.

This event highlights the high interest of shippers in the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route and its strategic importance as one of the key transport corridors providing fast and efficient communication between China and Europe through the territory of Kazakhstan.
