KTZ Express provides interstate order for an electric locomotives delivery to Azerbaijan

A branch of KTZ Express JSC – KTZE - Northern organized transportation of an electric locomotive of the AZ8A series No. 0012 manufactured by the French engineering company Alstom Transport SA from Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan.

The company is fulfilling an interstate order for the Azerbaijan Railways within the framework of the concluded agreement on transport expedition with the Electrovoz Kurastyru Zauyty LLP.

It is important to note that delivery is carried out on the “Single Window” principle basis. The unusual cargo dispatch route started from Sorokovaya station, then by ferry via the ports of Kuryk and Alat (Azerbaijan) to the station of Balajari (Azerbaijan). Delivery time is up to 10 days.

The plans include sending another 28 electric locomotives to Azerbaijan with an average frequency of once a month.
