Representatives of KTZ Express took part in the Kazakhstan-Turkish business forum in Istanbul (Turkey), aimed at creating a platform for strengthening business ties between the business circles of Kazakhstan and Turkey and discussing prospects for cooperation between the two states in the field of logistics, trade and investment.

The event was organized within the framework of the visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Mum to participate in the 10th meeting of the Kazakhstan-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
During the forum, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between JSC KTZ Express and Pasifik Eurasia Lojistik Dış Ticaret A.Ş, aimed at developing transport along the "Southern Corridor" through the territory of Kazakhstan. The document also provides for ensuring the competitiveness of the route by reducing transaction costs and improving the quality of the container service provided by mutual use of assets.
It is important to note that at present Kazakhstan and Turkey's cooperation in the transport and logistics industry is actively developing, for example, in 9 months of 2019 the volume of container transportation amounted to 5.4 thousand TEU, increasing by 2.2 thousand TEU or 69%, compared to the same period in 2018. At the same time, work is being carried out to introduce new logistics services, in particular, in October 2019, "KTZ" JSC in partnership with the railway administrations of China, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, an alternative container service on the route Xian - Istanbul - Prague, following the Trans-Caspian transport corridor and under the Bosphorus Strait along the Marmarai tunnel (Turkey) is launched.
