KTZ Express and Shandong Hi-Speed Group Expand Cooperation in Cargo Transportation

On 3 March 2025, the management teams of «KTZ Express» JSC and Shandong Hi-Speed Group, one of China's largest transport and logistics infrastructure companies, met in Astana. During their negotiations, they explored prospects for increasing freight traffic volumes, expanding cooperation, and introducing new logistics solutions.

The key topics addressed during the meeting included:

• Increasing the volume of agricultural products transported along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR);

• Raising the number of container trains to Central Asian countries;

• Exploring the use of double-deck containers to enhance transport efficiency.

The talks reaffirmed the mutual interest of Kazakhstan and China in strengthening transport and logistics ties and developing multimodal routes.

The companies will continue their cooperation under the strategic partnership agreement signed in December 2024.

The development of joint logistics projects between KTZ Express and Shandong Hi-Speed Group opens up new opportunities for increasing freight traffic between Kazakhstan and China, as well as for integration into international transport chains.
