Cooperation Issues in the Transport and Logistics Sector Between Kazakhstan and Vietnam Discussed

On May 6, 2025, a meeting was held in Astana between the leadership of KTZ Express and the leadership of Vietnam Railway Transport – Vietnam’s railway operator.

The main topic of the meeting was the prospects for expanding cooperation in the transport and logistics sector through the organization of a multimodal service along the Vietnam – China – Europe route.

During the negotiations, the General Director of KTZ Express, D.M. Kozhakhmetov, presented information on the company’s key areas of activity. In particular, he outlined the work being carried out to develop the transport and logistics sector and to improve the quality of services provided along major transport routes.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to conduct detailed work on organizing transportation and expressed mutual support for developing bilateral cooperation in logistics and international trade.
