International transport and logistics forum "PRO // Dvizhenie.1520" was held in online format

Last week, the head of KTZ Express JSC Dmitry Abdullaev took part in the transport forum "PRO // Dvizhenie.1520". The key topics of the event were the evolution of transport and logistics services, the railway industry and global eco-trends, as well as the digitalization of processes in the transport industry.

Organizer of the event was Gudok Publishing House JSC. The general partner is Russian Railways. The forum was held online for the first time, this year it was attended by 650 companies from 28 countries. In 2019 forum was attended by representatives of 17 countries and 325 companies.

Dmitry Abdullaev, during his speech, presented the services of KTZ Express JSC to the participants, despite the pandemic, stable growth is maintained on all routes through Kazakhstan. “We see a positive dynamic of traffic through the country, so for the period January-September, in all directions, in comparison with the same period in 2019, the growth was 36%. Container routes through Kazakhstan are in high demand. In the direction of China - Russia - China, the volume of traffic for 9 months of 2020 amounted to almost 36 thousand TEU, an increase of 45% compared to the same period last year. At the end of 2019, this figure amounted to 33.4 thousand TEU,” he stressed.

It should be noted that a record number of industry representatives, authorities and the media followed the forum. More than 6 thousand views of the forum were provided by social networks. Compared to last year's figures, 1.3 thousand participants registered for the offline event in Sochi.
