KTZ Express reveals key details of the new container hub in Aktau in an interview for “Magistral‑Live”

On July 28, 2025, the expert platform “Magistral‑Live” aired a special episode titled “The Middle Corridor seeks anchor points: testing resilience and expansion prospects”.

The guest of the program was Ms. A.B. Mukhamediyeva, Managing Director for New Projects and Marketing at KTZ Express. In the interview, Ms. Mukhamediyeva spoke in detail about the creation and development prospects of the Aktau International Container Hub — a strategic facility that is already transforming the Trans‑Caspian route.

Ms. Mukhamediyeva emphasized that the new hub in Aktau will become a key link of the Middle Corridor thanks to innovative solutions:

  • ZPMC RMG cranes – remote-controlled handling complexes with no analogues in Kazakhstan. Their use increases container handling speed by 2–4 times, improves safety, and automates operations.
  • Terminal Operation System (TOS) – an integrated digital platform that combines cargo flow management, container tracking, and integration with port and customs IT systems, providing full real-time control.

Thanks to these solutions, the Aktau hub is becoming a high-tech center that significantly increases throughput capacity and the quality of logistics services.

The joint project of KTZ Express, “Lianyungang Port Group Co., Ltd.” and “Aktau Sea Commercial Port” JSC is being implemented at an accelerated pace. In June 2025, the technical launch of the first phase took place ahead of schedule.

In the coming years, Aktau will become a key point for cargo flows of the Caspian region and Central Asia, providing a full range of modern container services.
