KTZ Express JSC will increase its own fitting platforms fleet by 29% until 2022.

KTZ Express will increase the fleet of its own fitting platforms by 2,000 units. New fittings will be supplied under contracts with JSC ZIKSTO and JSC Industrial Development Fund.

The documents provide to produce 2,000 units of 80-foot fitting platforms for KTZ Express by ZIKSTO JSC during 2021-2022. The first delivery of the platforms will begin in the first quarter of 2021.

“The purchase of 2,000 fitting platforms will ensure the renewal of the KTZ Express car fleet and will reduce the deficit in fitting platforms to 67%,” says the head of KTZ Express Dmitry Abdullaev.

As a reminder, KTZ Express operates a fleet of 6,000 containers, 430 climate-controlled containers and 7,000 fitting platforms. According to experts' forecasts, the acquisition of new platforms will ensure the growth of container freight traffic of the JSC NC KTZ group of companies in transit traffic on average 134 thousand TEU per year.
