Нead of KTZ Express JSC D. Abdullaev participated in the online meeting of the Working Group of the International Coordinating Council on Trans-Eurasian Transport (CCST)

May 15 this year the head of KTZ Express JSC D. Abdullaev participated in the online meeting of the Working Group of the International Coordinating Council on Trans-Eurasian Transport (CCST). The purpose of the event is to discuss and develop measures to increase the competitiveness of the East-West International Transport Corridor.

We recall that during the 28th Plenary Meeting of the CCTT, which was held in September 2019 in Nur-Sultan, KTZ Express JSC acquired the status of an associate member of the CCTT. Also, based on its results, the CCTT Working Group was created to increase the competitiveness of the East-West ITC.

The key topic of the online discussion was the current situation and plans of the railways of China and the CIS for the development of container transportation by rail in the China-Europe-China service.

Participants discussed the dynamics of freight transportation in containers for 4 months of 2020, transit time, tariff conditions, issues of attracting a new cargo base, in particular the transportation of mail and “sanctioned goods” using navigation seals, compliance with the current plan for the formation of wagons with containers on the train road and other relevant issues.
