KTZ Express Participated in the 83rd Meeting of the CIS Railway Transport Council

Representatives of KTZ Express, as part of the delegation of “NC “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” JSC, participated in the 83rd meeting of the Council for Rail Transport of the CIS member states. The event was attended by heads and experts from the railways of CIS countries, as well as Latvia and Estonia.

During the meeting, key issues of international rail communication development were discussed: organization of transportation, digitalization of logistics processes, tariff policy, and the formation of sustainable multimodal routes in Eurasia. Special attention was paid to the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), synchronization of traffic schedules, and simplification of procedures at borders.

As part of the visit, bilateral meetings were held with Rashad Nabiyev, Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, and R.M. Rustamov, Chairman of "Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC, as well as with partners from Estonia and Belarus. The parties discussed increasing transportation volumes, developing multimodal and container routes, supplying vessels for the Caspian region, and improving throughput capacity.

The participation of KTZ Express confirms the company's active role in strengthening international cooperation and Kazakhstan's position as a key transit hub.
