KTZ Express and partners strengthen cooperation on the development of the Middle Corridor

In Ankara, business meetings of transport and logistics company executives were held as part of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Türkiye.
During the negotiations, Chairman of the Board of JSC NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" Talgat Aldybergenov and CEO of KTZ Express Damir Kozhakhmetov discussed with Ajay Kumar Singh, CEO of the international port of Mersin, key issues including:
- Development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor),
- Expansion of port capacities,
- Creation of effective multimodal logistics solutions along the Asia–Europe route.
The Kazakh side emphasized the partners’ readiness to ensure stable cargo volumes and proposed leveraging the potential of KPMC (a joint venture of JSC NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" and PSA International), which is actively developing transportation on the following routes:
- China – Türkiye (including Izmit and Köseköy),
- Xi’an – Istanbul,
- Qingdao – Khorgos – Sergeli.
On the same day, a four-party agreement on cooperation and business development in freight transportation along the Middle Corridor was signed.
The agreement was signed by:
- TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş. (Türkiye),
- JSC NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy",
- Pacific Eurasia Logistics Company,
- JSC "KTZ Express".
On behalf of KTZ Express, the document was signed by CEO Damir Kozhakhmetov.
The agreements reached will serve as a basis for deepening trade and economic cooperation, strengthening Kazakhstan’s transit potential, and developing international logistics in the region.
