KTZ Express Champions at Samruk-Kazyna JSC Spartakiad 2025

From August 8 to 10, 2025, Astana hosted the 10th Spartakiad among employees of the Samruk-Kazyna JSC group of companies — a major sports event that united thousands of employees from across the country. The event aimed to promote sports, strengthen corporate spirit, and enhance teamwork.

The competitions covered a wide range of disciplines: team events (futsal, volleyball, basketball, tug-of-war, esports, asyk atu, swimming relay) and individual events (table tennis, swimming, chess, togyzqumalaq, arm wrestling, archery, darts, and more).

Following three days of competition, the team of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC took 1st place in the overall standings, winning 28 medals: 11 gold, 8 silver, and 9 bronze.

KTZ Express employees contributed to this success, competing as part of the Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC team:

• Zheniskyzy A. — Gold medal in women’s swimming, age 25–29.
• Limarenko K. I. — Gold medal in men’s swimming, age 25–29.
• Aidarbekova D. D. — Silver medal as part of the women’s volleyball team.
• Stepantsov A. V. — Bronze medal in men’s chess.

Together, the railway workers proved that sporting spirit, will to win, and team unity are embedded in the company’s DNA. KTZ Express is proud of its athletes and their contribution to the overall victory.
