KTZ Express provides regular container train services from China to Italy

Since November 2019, KTZ Express JSC has organized the dispatch of more than 1,500 twenty-foot containers with tomato paste from Urumqi to Naples, and since the beginning of 2021, 8 container trains have already been organized along this route.
Urumqi - Naples is considered one of the longest trans-Caspian cargo transportation routes in the direction of China - Europe. From Urumqi, the train, crossing the border through the Kazakh-Chinese checkpoint Khorgos, arrives at the Altynkol station, from where it goes to the port of Aktau. In the Kazakh port, containers with tomato paste are loaded onto a feeder ship and sent to the Azerbaijani port of Baku, then to Boyuk-Kasik (Azerbaijan), then to the Georgian points of Gardabani and Poti, where they are loaded onto a ship heading to Naples.
Despite the complex multimodal transportation scheme that links several countries and includes transshipment of goods through seaports, KTZ Express provides a comprehensive service to ensure timely delivery, safety and security of goods.
In the long term, the company sets goals to increase the volume and regularity of transportation of this nomenclature of cargo along the Trans-Caspian route.
