KTZ and Lianyungang Port review 2024 results and discuss plans for 2025

The management of JSC «NC «Kazakhstan Temir Zholy» and Lianyungang Port held a working meeting to summarise the results of cooperation for 2024 and discuss promising areas of cooperation.

The meeting evaluated the performance of the Khorgos dry port and the Kazakh-Chinese terminal at Lianyungang Port, both of which play crucial roles in developing transit traffic between the countries.

The parties outlined priority areas of cooperation for 2025. The focus is on the joint construction of a container hub in the port of Aktau, which will be the third key project within the framework of bilateral cooperation. The project will play an important role in increasing the capacity of transport routes and strengthening Kazakhstan's position as a key logistics hub in the region.
