KTZ Express’ Working Visit to Xi’an and Participation in the Second “China–Europe” International Cooperation Forum

KTZ Express conducted a working visit to Xi’an as part of the official delegation of JSC “NC “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” to participate in the Second International Cooperation Forum “China-Europe”. Organized jointly by Chinese and international institutions, the forum served as an important platform for discussing the development of railway connectivity under the “Belt and Road” initiative.

As part of the visit, Aibek Kapar, Deputy CEO for Logistics of KTZ Express, held a series of meetings with senior executives of key logistics companies and representatives of Chinese authorities. Among them were discussions with the leadership of the Port of Lianyungang headed by Wang Guochao and a delegation from Neptune Logistics led by Zhu Bonnie. The parties discussed the expansion of routes, improvement of multimodal logistics chains, and the implementation of advanced cargo-handling technologies.

The business programme also included a meeting with the delegation of HHLA International GmbH and its subsidiary METRANS, led by Martin Kubek, Deputy CEO for the “Silk Road” direction. The parties discussed prospects for further cooperation and joint projects aimed at expanding logistics operations in Europe.

Additionally, representatives of KTZ Express met with Zhu Chunle, Secretary of the CPC Party Committee of Jinhua, discussing long-term municipal-level cooperation and the development of infrastructure projects. During the forum, the delegation also participated in a quadrilateral meeting with the railways of Azerbaijan and Georgia, as well as Xi’an Mayor Ye Niuping, focused on increasing the capacity of the Trans-Caspian route and strengthening transport corridors.

The visit highlighted the growing role of KTZ Express as a key participant in international transit routes and reaffirmed the company’s strategic commitment to developing sustainable transport infrastructure and innovative logistics solutions.
