The Prime Ministers of Kazakhstan and Georgia learned about the digital solutions in the field of railway transportation

Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov and Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze jointly visited the office of JSC "NC Kazakhstan Railways", where they were introduced to cutting-edge digital solutions in the railway industry.
During the visit, the Prime Ministers learned about the work of the "Single Digital Window" and the smart railway transport system, which aim to simplify procedures and enhance the transparency of logistics.
Kazakhstan and Georgia are strengthening their strategic partnership in the railway sector, with a focus on increasing transit transportation and developing the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).
As part of its strategy for the comprehensive development of terminal infrastructure, which plays a key role in facilitating transit along the TITR, JSC “NC Kazakhstan Railways” is considering expanding its terminal facilities at the Port of Anaklia (Georgia). This port is expected to become a crucial transit hub for Trans-Caspian trade.
