Last Friday, an online presentation was held for the clients and partners of the KTZ NC JSC group companies, the purpose of which was to discuss the transportation of grain and leguminous crops. The event was attended by over 40 largest companies participating in the grain market.

Grain harvest in Kazakhstan has been growing rapidly in recent years, therefore, providing high-quality logistics services and finding optimal transportation options during the high season of demand are the priority tasks of NC KTZJSCsubsidiaries –KTZ Express JSC and Kedentransservice JSC.

During the event aimed at discussing the issues of the transportation process, the participants discussed the importance of ensuring the export of Kazakh grain products, paying special attention to the created alternative ways of transporting grain and leguminous crops in containers.

Among the advantages of containerization, senders note the variability of loading: at the elevator and at grain storage sites (in barns), the possibility of transportation over longer distances, the ability to carry out transportation at a higher speed, "from door to door" and without the need for reloading along the route, and many others.

Today, the export of Kazakh grain is mainly carried out in the direction of Central Asia and the PRC from the stations Novoishimskaya, Kostanay, Pavlodar, Denisovka, through the Dostyk border crossing, as well as along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) from the Kazakh cities of Kokshetau and Kostanay through the seaport Aktau to the Azerbaijani port Baku and further to the Turkish city Mersin.

“As the coordinator of the International Trans-Caspian Consortium, KTZ Express is most interested in creating favorable transit conditions on the route” says the head of KTZ Express JSC Dmtitry Abdullaev. According to him, the work done in recent years has already created a commercial advantage for the Trans-Caspian route. “Today we can offer the client transportation by TITR from eastern China to Turkeyin 14-15 days in organized container trains, observing the safety and speed parameters and at a very competitive price”, he says.

It should be noted that for the prompt provision of containers for loading in any region, KTZ Express containers are deployed throughout Kazakhstan.

In general, favorable conditions for accepting and servicing cargo flows with the provision of comprehensive service and interaction with customers have been created on all routes through Kazakhstan, advanced IT services have been established and international offices have been opened in China, Russia, Europe and major cities of Kazakhstan for the convenience of customers.
